A quick shout out to Kane Mar of Seattle’s Scrum Users Group. He has graciously provided his time and insight on starting and running a Scrum Users Group. Should you meet Kane or another member of Seattle’s Scrum Users Group buy a coffee to say thanks for us benefitting from their experience. I hear they like the java up there.

All who use Scrum and are interested in doing so are welcome to participate in our group.
Scrum is an agile software development framework emphasizing high-performing teams and production-ready software at end of each development cycle (called a sprint). As this process climbs in popularity, join us to learn how it can benefit you and your projects. Learn more about Scrum here.
Our purpose is to expand use of Scrum in Orlando and Central Florida. To do this we will educate our peers, clients, managers and employees on what Scrum is and how it works. Each of our meetings will have a brief presentation followed by a town hall meeting so all can participate each gathering.
Together we will learn about different Scrum’s workings, training sessions, conferences and certifications.
Please check back soon for date, time and location of our inaugural meeting in May 2008!
